Aquatic Certifications

Whether starting a lifeguard career or recertifying, our Lifesaving Society Bronze Medal, National Lifeguard, and Instructor programs help youth build and maintain essential skills.

Lifesaving Programs

Build water safety, rescue, and first aid skills with Youth Lifesaving programs. A fun way to gain confidence and prepare for future certifications.

Parent & Tot

The Parent and Tot Program structures in-water interaction between parent/caregiver and child to stress the importance of play in developing water-positive attitudes and skills. Designed for ages 4 months to 3 years.

Preschool

The Lifesaving Society Preschool program gives children a head start on learning to swim. In our five basic aquatic progressions we work to ensure 3 to 5 year-olds become comfortable in the water and have fun developing a foundation of water skills.

Private/Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Instructors will work one-on-one with participants on swimming skills they want to improve on. These sessions are suitable for children (8+) or adults who want to improve on a particular area of swimming.

SwimAbilities®

This community-based, leveled swimming program is geared for youth ages 3 to 16, with special needs, who need additional support to achieve their beginning swimmer goals and to increase their safety, independence, and enjoyment in and around the water.

Swimmer

The Lifesaving Society's 6-level Swimmer program makes sure your children learn how to swim before they get in too deep.
