Swimmer 1


Swimmer 1 builds confidence and foundational swimming skills. Swimmers learn safe water entries, breath control, treading in a lifejacket, and basic movements like floats, rollovers, glides, and kicks. Once ready, they'll progress with front crawl to the next level.

Ages 6-12

Beginner

30 minutes | 1x per week

Swimmer 2


Swimmers build confidence in deeper water by practicing jumps, sideways entries, and treading without a lifejacket. They’ll develop flutter and whip kicks, swim front and back crawl for 10m, work on Swim to Survive skills, and try interval training.

Ages 6-12

Beginner/Intermediate

Swimmer 3


Swimmers will master kneeling dives, forward rolls, handstands, and front somersaults in the water. They’ll build endurance with longer flutter and whip kicks, front and back crawl, and interval training.

Ages 6-12

Intermediate

45 minutes | 1x per week

Swimmer 4


Swimmers advance their skills with standing dives, 1-minute treading, and swimming underwater up to 5m. They’ll work toward the Swim to Survive standard and improve front crawl, back crawl, whip kick, plus get introduced to breaststroke.

Intermediate

Swimmer 5


Swimmers will learn shallow dives, tuck jumps, eggbeater kick, and backward somersaults. They’ll also build technique and endurance through longer swims and interval training.

Ages 6-12

Intermediate/Advanced

Swimmer 6


The final level focuses on mastering stride entries, compact jumps, and lifesaving kicks. Swimmers will refine strokes to build strength and endurance for the required 300m workout.
