Our adventure programs are designed to provide unique off-campus recreational opportunities for everyone and create unforgettable experiences. Whether you are brand new to the activity or an expert, our wide range of programs offer an experience for everyone.

Aquatics


Experience our aquatic programs for all ages and levels including Lifesaving Society’s learn-to-swim lessons, lifeguarding and instructor certifications, and various aquatic fitness classes.

Athletic & Rec Youth Camps & Programs


Explore a wide range of Athletic and Recreational camps for kids including Green & Gold Sports Camps, Varsity Skills Camps & Programs, and Augustana Vikings Camps.

Climbing


Our programs cater to people of all climbing abilities from novice to high-performance athletes. We are driven by a passion for climbing and a commitment to promoting the benefits of climbing as a lifestyle.

Club Sports


Club Sports supports its student groups to deliver physical activity programming to their members, which includes competitive and recreational sport, dance, martial arts, swim, outdoors, etc.

Curling


Come join us at the Saville Community Centre for some on-ice fun! Whether you're 8 or 80, brand new or advanced, we have a program or league for you.

Dance


Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, our numerous dance programs will allow you to find a healthy way to reduce stress, exercise and have fun.

DiscoverE Summer Camps


The Fred Otto DiscoverE Program has delivered fun and engaging summer camps to youth in Edmonton since 1993. Campers will learn engineering, science and technology concepts through exciting hands-on projects and demonstrations. Our instructors are post-secondary students who act as mentors in higher education. Some of our instructors were originally DiscoverE campers themselves!

First Aid & CPR

Recreational Sports

Sport Skills


Learn a new sport or work on a sport in which you have participated in the past. Our programs offer a fun and educational experience for all ability levels in sports such as ice skating and pickleball.

Tennis


We offer adult and junior lessons for the beginner to advanced player. Come try our sessions out to learn the sport or refine your skills.

The Steadward Centre

U of A Parking


Evening Parking Permits: An evening parking permit shall entitle the registered motor vehicle to be parked in non-restricted lots after 4:30 pm to 7:00 am and all day on weekends and statutory holidays. Cost is $74.00/semester.

Wellness


Flex your muscles and your mind, and join us for a variety of wellness courses offered by Campus and Community Recreation. These programs focus on empowering self care, building self-esteem and confidence, and provide an opportunity to build healthy relationships and make new friends.
