In partnership with the DiscoverE, the Green & Gold Sport System is offering a full-day combination camp for 12 to 14 year olds. Engineers help build the world around us, but did you know that they can build technologies for the human body too? From prosthetic limbs to nanoparticles, biomedical engineers create devices and technologies that advance the medical field. Discover how biomedical engineering improves human health! This camp will consist of fun, engaging, hands-on biomedical engineering projects that are designed at an appropriate grade level. The other half of the day exploring a variety of sports with the intention of developing a wide range of movement skills that will complement their current athletic pursuits and introduce them to new ones. Green and Gold Sport Skills camps offer participants an ideal opportunity to experience new sports and activities in a number of different settings with Golden Bears and Panda Varsity Athletes.
