Our new Engage Half Day Camps at Silent Ice Arena offer a high-tempo morning designed to maximize every minute on the ice. These sessions are formatted for participants to benefit from two on-ice sessions separated by a focused dryland training block to keep their energy and athleticism peaked. With a heavy emphasis on individual skill development, players will rotate through small-group stations, ensuring personalized instruction and high-volume repetitions in skating, shooting, and puck-handling. It is the perfect mid-summer tune-up for players looking for skill growth.
Campus and Community Recreation at the University of Alberta strives to provide awareness of risks associated with each program/activity it offers. It should be understood that there are risks associated with participation in our programs/activities and that they're inherent to each specific activity. We strongly recommend an annual physical exam prior to the start of any program or activity, and that additional information is sought any time a person's health status changes. Such actions are designed to ensure that participation is within one's health status/limitations.
