Augustana Science and Sport Skills

New in 2025!

Augustana’s Campus Recreation, Vikings Athletics and Environmental Science program has teamed up with the Battle River Watershed Alliance to offer a unique Co-Ed combo camp to train, grow, and have fun!

Half the day, participants explore the watershed, sampling water quality, and learning about biodiversity and habitat with our science camp leaders. The other half of the day, the Vikings coaching staff and Vikings student-athletes, will cover a variety of indoor and outdoor sports such as bouldering, basketball, disc golf, and volleyball to develop a range of skills designed to complement participants’ athletic pursuits and introduce new ones.

Our plans will allow us to deliver an amazing, safe, and instructive in-person camp experience for participants that will be centered around a combination of learning about the natural world in our local watershed and bringing the FUN back to sports with a wide range of activities.

Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Bring clean indoor shoes (non marking) and outdoor shoes (closed toed shoes) each day. Bring snacks, water bottles, sunscreen and hats. Lunch will be provided every day and all participants will receive a camp t-shirt

Drop Off Period: 8:45am to 9:00am
Camp Activities: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Pick Up Period: 4:00pm to 4:15pm

PLEASE NOTE: These Augustana Vikings camps take place on Augustana campus in Camrose.
