Excel Technical Swim Camps (Ages 8–14)

Transform your technique and racing mindset!

Our NEW Summer Swim Camps are designed for summer club swimmers, with a focus on the technical components of the 4 competitive swim strokes, starts, turns and underwater work, that separate the podium finishers from the rest of the heat.

This camp balances high-level technique focused pool sessions with dryland knowledge required to help set apart athletes.

Every day features two distinct training blocks to build a complete athlete:
1. The Performance Classroom Building the "mental game" and physical longevity through:

  • Nutrition & Recovery: Fueling for high-performance meets.
  • Mental Skills: Visualization techniques and goal setting.
  • Mobility & Yoga: Swimming-specific stretches for better shoulder and hip rotation.

2. The Water Intensive Technical drills and video feedback focusing on:
  • The 4 Disciplines: Maximizing technical efficiency in Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle.
  • Explosive Starts: Mastering track starts and the transition to underwater.
  • Precision Turns: Maintaining momentum through tight flip, 2 hand touch turns and IM transitions.
  • The "Fifth Stroke": Developing elite underwater power and streamline efficiency.
