Program: 23003 - Lifesaving Society's National Lifeguard Instructor Course

Information: To become a National Lifeguard Instructor, you need a current National Lifeguard certification (any option), held for at least two years, plus a Lifesaving Instructor certification. Experience teaching Lifesaving Society programs is recommended.
After the course, you'll apprentice on a National Lifeguard (Pool or Waterfront) course, holding the current candidate award for that option. Upon appointment as an Examiner, you can certify candidates in options you hold awards in. Your instructor certification is valid for two years.
