Van Vliet Complex Drop-In Sports & Activities

IMPORTANT: If you have purchased one of the following 1-month Van Vliet Complex memberships, you will not be able to reserve a drop-in time online. Please call 780-492-2231 or email activityreg@ualberta.ca to book you spot.

ATTENTION: Each participant must create their own registration account and book their own reservation for the time slot they choose. Please do not register the same person more than once on the same day as this will not complete the registration and will prevent your entry into the facility instead of guarantee a spot.

NOTE: Please ensure you bring your physical onecard or membership to your appointment in order to access the facility. Virtual onecards will not be accepted!

Badminton

Book the court and time you want and coordinate with your friends so they book the same court and time you do. Courts can be booked by a maximum of 2 people at a time. Please refrain from touching the nets and poles.

Openings can only be booked up to 5 days in advance. If you are not able to use the court, please cancel your booking so others can make use of the courts.

Basketball

In order to comply with COVID-19 physical distancing requirements, basketball courts can only be used by a maximum of ONE person at a time. Multi-player games will not be allowed.

Pickleball

Running

** PLEASE NOTE: The following is for running drop-in in the Pavilion (Butterdome) ONLY** We will not be offering drop-in running in the Clare Drake Arena for Fall 2020 and will be reviewed for Winter 2021.*

Skating

Please arrive at the arena in appropriate clothing, participants are able to put on skates in the dressing room ONLY. DO NOT bring any valuable belongings with you to the arena. Arena staff are not liable for any lost items.

Squash
