The goals of this camp are to build basic track and field skills and improve general athletic skills. Half of the camp will be spent at Foote Field’s outdoor track where participants will develop the skills included in Athletics Canada’s popular Run Jump Throw Wheel program. The other half of the camp day will be dedicated to age-appropriate multi-sport activities designed to improve fundamental movement skills that support and complement the skills taught in the track sessions.
Previous sports experience is not required.
Camp activities will take place primarily outdoors. Camp participants should be prepared for inclement weather.
